Nutrition experts often recommend that you should eat fish twice a week for optimal health. Late last night, a Korean study was published that found that middle aged men who ate fish every day were less likely to develop risk factors for heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Together, those diseases are known as metabolic syndrome.
The study, which looked at Korean adults ages 40-69, found that men who had a serving of fish each day were 57 percent less likely than those who dined on fish less than once per week to develop metabolic syndrome. While the authors of the study said that the findings need to be replicated, they are completely in line with previous studies that have found enormous health benefits in increased fish consumption
